SSHADE is an interoperable database infrastructure of Solid Spectroscopy (https://www.sshade.eu/) providing data obtained by various spectroscopic techniques over the whole electromagnetic spectrum from Gamma to radio wavelengths, through X, UV, Vis, IR, and mm ranges. The measured solids are either synthetized in the laboratory or are natural terrestrial analogs or extraterrestrial cosmo-materials.
SSHADE contains a set of specialized databases from various research groups, mostly from Europe. It is developed under the H2020 European programs Europlanet 2020 RI and now Europlanet 2024 RI, with the help of OSUG, CNRS/INSU, IPAG and CNES. It is part of the Virtual European Solar and Planetary Access activity (VESPA). It is hosted by the OSUG data center / Université Grenoble Alpes, France.
The SSHADE consortium has currently 23 partner teams (~100 participants) in 22 laboratories from 12 different European countries (FR, GB, IT, DE, ES, HU, PL, CH, AT) plus India, Taiwan, Canada.
It is in the course to be extended (2020-2024) with 8 additional partner teams (FI, GR, IT, BR, CN, FR) in the frame of the Europlanet-2024 RI program..
“Europlanet-2020 RI and Europlanet-2024 RI have received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreements N° 654208 and N° 871149 ”
