ISEP (Imageur Spectral pour l’Exploration Planétaire) is a dedicated laboratory wide field spectrophotogoniometric imaging facility set up at
IRAP, Midi-Pyrénées Observatory, Toulouse, France (
Pinet et al., 2001,
Cord et al., 2003,
Souchon et al., 2011).
This instrument covers the 0.4-1.0 µm domain and operates under either natural solar or artificial extended light source and characterizes the optical response of geological targets from 10 mm x 10mm to 20 cm x 20 cm size, ranging from controlled powders to complex slab rock samples.
