sshade:databases:stopcoda:samples

Data currently ingested in the GhoSST database :

MIR-FIR transmission spectra (5 - 1000 µm) of amorphous silicate dust grains measured at 300 K, 200K, 100K, 30K, 10K.

More information may be found on the ESPOIR website.

The samples are submicronic grains dispersed in KBr (MIR) and PE (FIR) and pressed to form pellets.

The delivered data are mass absorption coefficients (MAC, cm2/g).
