Short description: database from USGS focused on the reflectance spectra of minerals over the near UV to Near-IR (0.2-5.5µm) but also some up to 200µm

Data format: ASCII (.txt) + separate Wavelength and Bandpass file

Metadata: Sample ID, Spectrum title, Material and Type, Formula, Colection locality, Donor, Sample location, Sample description and image, XRD analysis, Composition analysis and discussion, Microscopic examination, Spectroscopic discussion, Spectral purity.
